Education, in a global sense, is a right since we are born. Every experience has a formative effect on the constitution of the human being, in the way one thinks, feels and acts. One of the most important contribution resides in what and how we learn through the improvement of educational processes, both in formal and informal settings.
Our International Conference seeks to provide some answers and explore the processes, actions, challenges and outcomes of learning, teaching and human development. Our goal is to offer a worldwide connection between teachers, students, researchers and lecturers, from a wide range of academic fields, interested in exploring and giving their contribution in educational issues.
The International Conference on Education and New Developments 2014 invites you to showcase presentations, from the most diverse countries and cultures, to promote growth in research methods intimately related to teaching, learning and applications in Education nowadays. We wish to illustrate developments and new ways of thinking in these main fields: Teachers and Students; Projects and Trends; Teaching and Learning; Organizational Issues (see below in "Themes of Interest").

The conference will cover many types of presentation formats, incorporating Invited Keynote Speakers, oral and thematic showcases. Among the conference materials, given to all registered attendees, a book will be published and provided with the Proceedings delivered at the conference.
Publication opportunities will also be available from selected international journals.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is organizing International Conference on Digital libraries (ICDL 2013) during 27-29 November 2013 at New Delhi. The conference will also aim at further strengthen the academic collaboration and strategic alliance in development of DL in the world. Theme of the conference is Vision 2020: Looking back 10 years and forging new frontiers.

In recent past TERI had organized three major ICDL conferences during 2004, 2006 and 2010 which were proved to be useful tools to bridge digital divide between developed and developing countries. Aim: ICDL 2013 is expected to be a major forum focusing on digital libraries and related technologies and issues. * Conference background and goals
The IADIS WWW/Internet 2013 conference aims to address the main issues of concern within WWW/Internet. WWW and Internet had a huge development in recent years. Aspects of concern are no longer just technical anymore but other aspects have aroused. This conference aims to cover both technological as well as non-technological issues related to these developments. Main tracks have been identified (see below). However innovative contributes that don’t fit into these areas will also be considered since they might be of benefit to conference attendees.

7th International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice Conference How are librarians and information professional using evidence to inform practice? The possibilities are endless! Across library sectors librarians around the world are consulting the research evidence in library and information studies (LIS) as well as other fields such as marketing, business, education, and management. Finding and applying research evidence is the hallmark of evidence based library and information practice. Librarians are also conducting research and adding valuable evidence to the LIS body of knowledge, engaging in knowledge transfer with their own research experiences. The 7th International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice conference is the place to come and participate in the EBLIP conversation. The International Program Committee for EBLIP7 invites you to submit abstracts for papers and posters for the conference to be held at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada from July 15 - 18, 2013. When a library makes video and/or audio recording and editing equipment and software available, they are providing community members with an opportunity to gain new skills and to have a voice in the online world.

LibraryYOU is a project by the Escondido Public Library to collect and share local knowledge through videos and podcasts. With a recording studio in the library and training classes for the public, LibraryYOU has helped create a wealth of local knowledge in the community. LibraryYOU focuses on instructional and educational information, with how-tos, tutorials, and short lectures on a variety of topics. e-Granthalaya is a library automation software from National Informatics Centre, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. Using this software the libraries can automate in-house activities as well as user services. The software can be implemented either in stand-alone or in client-server mode where database and WebOPAC are installed on the server PC while the data entry program is installed on client PCs. The software provides LAN/WAN based data entry solutions for a cluster of libraries where a centralized/Common database can be created with Union Catalogue output. The software provides Web OAPC interface to publish the library catalogue over Internet/Intranet. The software runs on Windows platform, compatible with Z39.50, MARC, ISO 2709 and UNICODE Compliant, thus, supports data entry in local languages.
