Edible Book Contest
We want YOU! Submit an entry to the library's first annual "Edible Book Contest" to help us celebrate National Library Week (April 10-16).
Entries must be edible and somehow related to books. It can look like a book, represent a scene or character in a book, or just have something to do with books in general. The contest is open to all amateur bakers, cooks, and decorators.
Entries must be submitted by 10 a.m. on Friday, April 15. Judging will begin at 3 p.m. in the Study Cafe in the library. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best Tasting, Best Book Interpretation, and People's Choice. Vote for your favorite People's Choice entry between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., the day of the contest. Tasting of entries begins after winners are announced.
Our fearless judging team includes Erik Hoekstra, Laremy De Vries, Kelsey Reitsma, and Kathy De Groot.
