ICRM Credit

The Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) pre-approved 15.00 hours under the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) for attendance by Certified Records Managers (CRMs) at the full/complete 2011 ARMA Canada conference.

Pre-Conference Seminar

A pre-conference seminar features Dr Mark Langemo on "Records and Information Management: The Fundamentals". This 2-day seminar is designed for individuals who are new to the records and information profession. The seminar will be on Saturday June 04 and Sunday June 05, 2011. Register by April 15, 2011 using the online registration tool.

Keynote

Get your conference off to a stimulating start with the keynote presentation featuring Alan Hilburg, APR speaking on "The Paradox of Identity...Creating Value and Being Valued". The keynote presentation is Monday, June 06, 2011 at 8:30 am.

The local PEI Chapter has arranged a number of events and tours designed to showcase the ambience of the island. There are tours and dining and golf and other events that you can register for on the registration page. The list of the events is available in the events section.

Poster Sessions

There are five poster sessions planned for Tuesday. Poster sessions allow for one-on-one/small group communication between a presenter and the audience, and facilitate discussion about the content presented. They’re an effective and interactive way to impart information, communicate ideas and research, or show how an IM Program did something well. Check out the details of the poster sessions!

Program Highlights

The 2011 ARMA Canada conference will feature more than 45 education sessions – case studies, lectures, poster sessions and workshops. The education sessions will cover the six domains in ARMA International’s Records and Information Management Core Competencies: Business Functions, Communications and Marketing, IT, Leadership, RIM Practices, and Risk Management.
